Notes: Specializes in analyzing cases in the Greek high court of appeals (Εφετειον). It was a weekly newspaper which lasted for 23 years (1837-1860).  After 1850 it was published intermittently and not on a weekly basis. It contains the laws and regulations of the court in Nafplion and of Areios Pagos, the Supreme Court of Athens; also, rulings of the court according to the business and maritime law, military laws and courts. The purpose was to promote the legal profession by publishing scholarly papers. It ιs an important newspaper because it shows the development of modern Greek jurisprudence during its early years. The content is not only about Greece. There are articles about international law from other countries ranging from the U.S. to India.
