Notes: Genikē Ephēmeris tēs Hellados was the official newspaper of the first Greek Administration after the War of Independence. The first issue was published on October 7th, 1825, and the last after 7 years, on March 23rd, 1832. It was published in Nauplion, Aegina and Poros. Publishers were the scholars Theoklētos Pharmakidēs (1825-1827), Georgios Chrysidēs (1827-1831), and Iōannēs Galiatsas (1831-1832). It was mostly bi-weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays). The content was mostly governmental announcements, the decisions of the parliament, but also news from foreign newspapers. Also letters from philhellenes in the U.S.
